“Perpetuum”

The trio BERG/JEANNE/SURMENIAN is currently playing concerts and thus promoting the music recorded on the new album “Perpetuum”. Perpetuum, by dutch pianist Edwin Berg together with bassist Eric Surmenian and drummer Fred Jeanne is highly acclaimed in France, Spain, the Netherlands, Japan and the US for its originality and surprisingly high level, since not everybody knows this trio (yet).

Continuing the path he paved with previous albums “Heartland” and “Water”, Edwin Berg brings an album with new original material as well as completely fresh and original versions of for instance Michael Jackson’s “Ben”, “All the things you are” but also a Bach Prealude in c minor. The trio brings all this together in “a musical universe of their own” (J. Chesnel). Critics write about it:
